This is a Goblin folder made by Steve in the early eighties. The head is carved as part of the stag and is meant to represent the giant snake of the movie Conan.

The blade is san-mai, with early mosaic damascus sandwiching an edge of carbon steel. This is a very ambitious piece of bladesmithing.

Slipjoint folder
Length of blade: 3 1/4"
Length closed: 8"
Length open: 4 1/2"

The knife was cleaned up by Steve in August 2003. Since then I have kept it in display cabinet and never used or sharpened it.

Price for this piece is $3,600 + insured USPS shipping. Feel free to contact me at j.delage@gmail.com. As always, I offer a 7-day return policy, no question asked, for full refund minus transaction & shipping costs. Trades are not impossible but unlikely given my current collection (I'm mostly looking for exceptional Don Fogg, Tim Hancock, etc, but you never know...) I prefer money orders, but I'll take PayPal & checks (checks will take a few days to clear).

Thanks,

Joss

I'm taking 10% off this, so $3,600 - $360 = $3,240. Also, feel free to contact me with offers.

Last BTT with a reduction to $3,000 + shipping, and at this low price I'll have to charge the PayPal transaction costs. After that it's off to eBay... Steve's carved folders start at $3,600 and go up from there, so this is a very good deal.
