SOLD!
I didn´t thought about it while I was grinding this nakiri but once it was finished, blade and handle matched perfectly to create a certain "marine" flair with the beautiful bright cristaline transition line of the san mai and the blue handle with white lines. This blade´s surface is very rich in interesting details like the damascus-like pattern in the stainless steel and the bleeding of 1080 steel on the top of the blade. Pictures certainly don´t do it justice!
A serious candidate of my preferred knife for 2023!

Its blade is 16cm (about 6 1/4") long and made of two layers of stainless steel surrounding a 1080 carbon steel core while the octagon shaped handle is made of stabilized box elder burl.
