Here is some of my San Mai. The cutting edge is Aldo's 1084 and the sandwich layers are high nickel and low carbon steel. The blade has been hand polished to 800 grit then etched.

The handle is some desert ironwood that I ordered recently. It is sculpted and shaped to fit the hand then polished to a high luster. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.

The sheath is my pocket fixed blade design. It is made to be worn inside the right hand pocket, but can be clipped on the belt on the left side if desired. It is how I carry my own knife and I feel it is one of the most comfortable ways to wear a knife.

Dimensions
Blade - 3 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 7 1/2

Price - $200 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.

Same here, I'd love to get a slightly different version of this knife if you decide to take orders.

Thanks, I Will get the knife in tomorrow's mail. I do some custom orders, but during the school year (I teach)it is difficult to pin down completion times.

I just got the knife in today and I have to say its beautiful. Beautiful leather work, nice and tight but also forgiving. As for the blade WOW very nicely done. The patterns stand out perfect, nice clean grind that's very sharp with a mirror shine. Fits just right in the hand. Thanks again and I can't wait to see the next one that's on the way.
