Here is a San Mai blade. It has 1084 as a core steel and a high nickel low carbon "sandwich" layer. It has been sanded and polished to 800 grit then etched to show the different steels. It is razor sharp and ready to go.
The handle is jigged bone. I jigged it myself and antiqued it. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy.
The sheath is made to be worn in the right hand pocket. It can also be worn on the belt on the left side. It is lined with upholstery leather and the knife slides in nicely and draws easily.
Dimensions
Blade - 3 3/16" tip to handle
OAL - 6 3/4"
Price - $240 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
