Here is a larger knife with a good full size handle. The blade has been hand sanded and etched to reveal the different layers. The core steel is 1084 and the sandwich layers are high nickel and low carbon.
The handle is ivory micarta with natural canvas micarta bolsters. It is held in place with pins and G-flex epoxy. It is shaped and sculpted to fit the hand well.
The sheath is hand tooled leather (you can see a short WIP with this sheath on my instagram). The knife draws nicely. The leather is 7-8oz leather from Wickett and Craig.
