Here is a san mai recurve. It is 8670 and 5160 steel, three layers to give the look of a hamon with a fully hardened blade. The spine is fileworked. I left the flats as forged, because I like how it looks.
The handle is a nice dark set of cocobolo. It is mostly black with stripes of orange.
The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched leather. It is hand tooled and dyed. It complements the knife very well.
