This is san mai that I made because I wanted to replicate the look of a hamon with a fully hardened blade. This one is 15N20 with a 1084 core. I think it turned out well. The spine is fileworked.

The handle is some really nice snakewood. It is held on with 3 normal and one mosaic pin, and Acraglas.

The sheath is 8-9oz hand stitched and tooled leather. It is solid and holds the knife securely.

Dimensions
Blade - 4 3/4" tip to handle
OAL - 9 1/2'

Price - $245 shipped to US. I prefer paypal to matt@baileyknives.com, but will accept check or money order.

The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it

I took one look @ the blade & my instant thought was "LOVE IT"

The ergonomic, skinny handle is unique to me. Love it. Great Knife.

Another beautiful Bailey knife. Now if I could just get a ringed san mai made by Matt, the world would be good.
