San Mai With Stag

I forged this one by laminating 15N20 over a 1095 core and heat treating it in my Paragon furnace to Rc 58-60. The blade is flat ground with forged texture on the flats and a clip. Blade thickness is approximately 3/16 at the guard and distal tapers to the point. Overall length is 10 inches with a 5 inch blade/. Stag handle with a brass guard and a black spacer. The leather scabbard has a belt loop for a right hand carry.

Very cool! Just curious, do you make your own sheaths? They are so clean looking. They go very nicely with your knives!

Thank you for your comment, Alamor. I make my sheaths like I do my knives, very functional but without a lot of bling.
