I have been experimenting with forge welding and this is one of my successes.
Forged with a 1095 core laminated with ancient wrought iron (puddle iron found in an old iron mine)
The steel is heat treated to Rc 58-60 in my Paragon furnace to Rc 58-60
Flat grind
The guard was forged from the same wrought iron and acid etched
Stabilized figured cherry handle with a cocobolo spacer
Overall length: 11 1/4 inches
Blade: 6 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop
Reduced to $250 delivered via Priority Mail to the US. I accept PayPal, credit cards and checks with time to clear.
