• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

yes it is. It's dirty fighting to the extreme. Couple it with some good grappling and some boxing and you are good for street survival.

Heh...this'll wind up in Prac Tac pretty soon....

Anyhoo, to answer the question, yes. It's pretty awesome. My wife took it for awhile when we lived in Anchorage. It's primary attributes were that they were very pragmatic in the teachings. When my wife was there she also had an opportunity to train a couple days in some Brazilian Ju Jitsu in order to better learn some grappling skills. (very openminded) She didn't see any of the "Crapping Tiger Puking Dragon" type of moves, but merely simple three or so step manuevers that worked. It was at times a bit brutal in it's teachings. For quite awhile when someone asked her to "show off her moves" her reply, was "well...okay, but I'm gonna have to start by gouging your eyes...." Assuming you have a decent instructor, it's definitely respectable.
