I'm looking into a small home sand blasting kit for some different blade finishes. Will sand blasting get rid of grind lines? Or is that something I have to do with finer bit belts on the sander?
Not only am I looking into different finishes but am looking for ways to get a decent finish a little quicker as I'm looking to start a cheaper line of knives. (Hand sanding with a nice satin finish is my favorite, but is a lot of work and time). Looking to give a cheaper option to some local people interested in some knives.

I blast my hunting and skinning knives with a combined AlO2 and glass bead media. I get it from Grainger. It leaves a nice matt finish but it does not remove deep grind lines. I take it to 600 or 800 grit before blasting.

Forgot to add, I'm using M390 and S35VN at 60 Rc. The air pressure is about 85 psi.

Ditto what Tim said about taking it up to 600 grit before bead blasting.
I think a lot of people think it may be some sort of miracle short cut. It really isn't.
For a good blasted finish you're going to have to put in basically the same amount of work as you would hand finishing.
