I'm thinking of sanding away some of the g10 of a Kershaw Random Task II to make some more space for my thumb. Are there any tips for me to achieve the best possible results? Thanks.

Well first off make sure you have a good respirator before you do anything to the g10. That stuff will destroy your lungs. And idk how much you are wanting to remove but if it's a considerate amount I would take off the majority with files and then smooth it out with the sandpaper. Again make sure you use a respirator

I'm not sure what your asking... you want to make a finger groove?

I wouldn't bother with a respirator unless your power sanding or cutting. You'll be fine filing in a groove and the finishing it.
