You should consider making a 14" one Tim.

I'll buy a set of these from you also if you do. Very happy with the large diameter ones for radius platens, great value!

Thanks javand , I will make up a few 14" when I have the time!

These can be purchased in singles or doubles too! I also will have a couple 14" available. PM me if interested

Thanks Stan, I have a couple others with experimental finish if you are interested in testing for me. The rest of these blocks are gonna ship today. thanks everyone

I don't know Tim from "Adam's House Cat", as the cliche goes, but steel blocks out there (rare) are about 10x as expensive, and probably won't last as long. These are cheap enough to buy even if you don't need them, since you'll never be able to buy or make them yourself as cheap when you do.

I've bought a set of these for radius platens (I dont own any radius platens), and for all the standard wheel sizes (I only own two corresponding size wheels), but considering the value ratio of these, it just seems foolish not to have them in case I ever (probably wont) get serious about hollow or radius platen grinding.

Frankly it would only take one knife to justify the cost of these for me. I guess this is a bit of a rant, but I'm starting to wonder wtf is going on, that only a few of us understand the value here? You guys don't know what you're missing. This place never ceases to entertain. ;D
