Here's a sanding organizer I made a while ago. I wanted to use it for a while to see if it worked out before posting pics. I should have made it a long time ago, it makes sanding go much faster. Seems like the finishes turn out better because the next grit (or previous grit if I have to) is ready to go without messing around. I cut the strips with a round blade type paper cutter. Thought someone might find it useful.

I now have a screw on the side for the green tape to hang on. Also the front space on the side is for a magic marker that I use to check for low spots.

That's nice. I just use a file cabinet to keep my sandpaper organized; the folders are easy to label and keep track of, and the drawer stays closed so it doesn't fill up with shop grit/dust/grime and I don't end up with 100-grit gunk on my 2000-grit paper.

I have a separate office type organizer for my bulk paper but wanted something I can move around to different stations depending on what I'm working on. I have the higher grits turned over so they stay clean. Also the thin strips are sandwiched between pieces of plywood, mostly to keep them flat and to make it easy to pull them out but it also keeps them clean.
