Sandpaper disk cutting? How do I make it easy?

I have an 8" disk mounted to the back side of the head-stock on my VS wood lathe. I use this disk a lot when I make knives as a step in cleaning-up any flats. I cut my sandpaper disks from standard sheets of paper (mostly Rynowet redline) using scissors. I usually end up with two rectangles of paper (which I will later use for hand-sanding during the handle-shaping process) and small corner scraps that I toss in the garbage. Has anyone come up with a better/faster way to cut these sandpaper disks?

Just glue on the sheet and trim it when it is on the disk with a knife. Use the edge of the disk as a guide. Easy.

I got lazy and quit doing it and started just to buy the sticky PSA disc . But before that I bought a circle paper cutter and would just pick a night at home to cut out a bunch of disc.

I use spray adheavse, turn the disc on squirt a little adheavse on, slap on a sheet of sand paper and like Dan Graves said trim it up with a knife.
Hope this helps
Jason
