Sandvik Steel from Admiral

Last week I read a post, from Nathan I believe, about buying Sandvik steel from Admiral and that it was twisted or bowed. I had just ordered 12c27 the day before and lo and behold when it arrived today it to had a bow in it. My question is has anybody tried using a slip roll to straighten out the bar?

The guys around here told me to try and use a vice with three "rollers" to counterbend some CPM M4 that I got that was bent.grumpy

Yea I have an arbor press I can use. You figure at $16 per lb the stuff would be flat.

I use anvil with a piece of leather on it and a hammer, works great.
