Santa Barbra Custom Knife, Pin and Watch Show

As some of you know, there is a custom knife, pin show, and watch show coming up. April 17th, 18th, and 19th in Santa Barbra. It's the same guy who puts on the New York custom show. I'm going because, 1-it's only a few hours away, and 2, I ordered my 1st custom knife from DDR, and I'm picking it up there.

I told my bud Matt, aka CharlieMike-that he should come along with my dad and I. He was going to, but now that he's got a new "old' lady, he's gonna go down with her. Regardless, we plan on meeting up.

There's quite a few CA members on here, and Matt came up with the suggestion of finding out who all is going, and then maybe meeting up there. Possibly even name tags with our screen names??

What you guys think?

Let me know which day and time of the show you will be there. I have been known to haul my 5 kids and wife to knife shows. They may just drop me off and go to the zoo or something. It would be nice to meet some BF regulars. I should be able to attend.
 
I'll be there Saturday approx noon to closing or whenever Nate gets there since we'll be following him. Maybe Sunday morning but I doubt it.

edit: looks like I'll be there when it starts.

I will mark my calendar. I really enjoyed the Pasadena show and joined So Cal Blades. If I would not have marked it on the calendar, I would have missed it. If the Good Lord is willin and the creek dont rise, I will be there....

Cool-I'm plannng on being there as soon as it starts Saturday. I'm probably gonna run on in and find Darrel Ralph 1st. I can't wait to get my 1st custom, but after that, yeah, we can meet up. :D
 
I'm gonna do my best to be there at 10 AM. I may have to leave the house at 6 or 7, but I wanna do it.

It starts on Friday....if you are not there at the beginning, you miss the best stuff.

Yeah, I know. I can't make it then though. Like I said, it's really all about picking up the trigger.
 
I was at the end of the Pasadena show, and even though I had no money, all that were selling were asking me to make an offer. I felt bad that they did not do as well as they had liked.
 
My wife and I will be driving in from Utah on Thursday, really looking forward to the show. I'm not sure whether the knives or my wife's shopping in Santa Barbara will cost me more.;)

I was there at the opening bell of the Pasadena Show. I bought a couple knives from Jeff Morgan and looked around for the rest of the afternoon. At the end of the day, Jeff remarked that only the less expensive pieces were moving. A couple other makers said the same. Not surprising in view of the economic conditions. Sorry to hear that Sunday may also have been slow.
