:) I have been thinking about getting a mill for a couple of years. Finally did it. It took three of us to set it into place but it is solid and level. The vise and other items I ordered for it will come tomorrow, so all I have done with the Grizz is drill a single hole. It was a lovely hole. My only complaint at this point is the the chuck. It is a B16 on an R8 taper. The R8 is fine, but the B16 is not. The chuck only closes to 3mm. Any bits smaller than 1/8" cannot be used. I may get a different chuck and spindle- maybe a JT-33.

No, you are not seeing things out the window. We got 2" of snow last night- just in time for deer season:).

Nice, a mill is one of those things that i really want but will most likely never get. Glad to see someone else can now enjoy in the fun of milling :)

Looks like a nice mill...If I were u I would look into getting a nice keyless chuck, good ones are not cheep, but they make a difference....I have a Albrecht 1/32 to 1/2 with internal R8 mount, its awesome...you might also look at the ROHM brand, if ya wonted something at a lower price point the phase 2 chucks are good as well as the Grizzly chucks. Be sure and tram the head if you plan on doing some precise milling work...
