~~ Let's see what sharp things Santa brought you! ~~

I'll start …

The North Pole you say? I think not … I have it on very good advice that Santa's workshop is a bit farther South …

Thanks so much to Andy, Ken, and all the Fiddleback family for getting this out to me so quickly … posted "I'll take it" on Sunday the 21st, and she arrived on Christmas Eve - can't ask for much better than that! Love this blade!

That's a beauty! It always takes an extra day to ship to Michigan. :grumpy: My Leuku shipped Monday as well but won't be here until Friday. Unfortunately I leave for South Carolina early morning tomorrow. I return on January 1st. It's going to be a long wait to see it :D

Late last night, as the wife and I were winding down and watching some TV, I mentioned that I was a little disappointed that I hadn't received mine before Christmas. She agreed, only saying "well, you know how busy things are right now. It will probably come after the holidays".

Well, imagine my surprise and joy when I woke this morning and she hands me two postal boxes - one containing some Rick Lowe pants and the other containing my two Fiddlebacks  They had arrived at some point during the week and she hid them from me.

If that wasn't enough, a friend, to whom I had mentioned maybe trying to make a knife myself, had delivered a 36" stick of new O1 steel.

My friends and family are amazing.
Merry Christmas to you all

I hear that! A friend sent a box with 2 Fiddlebacks in it. One I bought in the beginning of October and the other I traded for a month ago! I was really hoping it would make it before Christmas, but no such luck. I've got another Fiddleback I traded for back in May . . . it's still with my brother . . . maybe someday he'll send it! My other one got stolen in the mail, so I have another one coming from the Forge someday! So eventually I'll have all my Fiddlebacks. It's been a LONG wait for some of them, but oh the excitement for when they actually will be in hand. Hopefully the Christmas box will get here tomorrow and I'll have myself a happy day late Christmas!

No sharps under the Christmas tree for me, but I did score a cordless Dremel

I am contemplating removing the guard off my Bushboot now, or at least take it down significantly. But I should probably practice on a cheaper knife first.

I am very happy that we were able to get the knives shipped on monday and to most of ya'll. Merry Christmas!

Congrats Edge, that is a sweet Raptor!

Yeah, I am totally digging the Fiddleback Forge shop being a two hour drive :)

Santa brought me this beauty. That blackwood is really something else.

I have to admit a bit of jealousy here, I wish my Blackwood Woodsman and Bushboot could have had the lime green liners :)

My Fiddleback Christmas came early when I picked up my knives on Tuesday - see the collections thread.

This morning Santa delivered my rockstar her 2nd knife, a CRex original and my hand-me-down Canon Rebel camera.
She promptly placed the new CRex pocket knife and her Fiddleback 3FKarda together for a photo op.

Santa brought me a sheath-less Damascus Fighter. Guess what I will be doing with the remainder of my day. :)

The Fiidleback involved in my Christmas this year is a Monarch that I got the opportunity to borrow and check it out for myself :) Sorry, crappy phone pic taken on a desk at a hotel, in the middle of the night after a long day...

My time with the Monarch has me rethinking somethings, particularly how I want to set up this next trio with the cool little ax my awesome wife gave me for Christmas.

Given transit time from GA to MD, my fiddleback is still in the care of the usps.

Funny enough, I'm not even going to open it when it arrives as I've already traded it to Philip L.

Looking forward though to getting the trade

Santa was GOOD! I got an Asp and a Bushfinger (appears to be from usamadeblade) and a Olamic Cutlery Wayfarer in sculpted carbon fiber, it all came in a cool tactical stocking sitting on a 100 round can of .50BMG. It was all super cool, then the big question comes... what kind of gun shoots those big bullets... LOL

This is awesome ... love seeing what we share with those we care most about …

Duder, Bud, Mist, Will - you guys all seem to have done pretty well (read: UNDERSTATEMENT!), tho IMO Bud got the best of all - he got to be the giver … !

Hang in there Shamr0ck … she's gettin' there as fast as she can!

Allen, I do appreciate how quick you guys moved this week - never expected to see my knife by Christmas … !
