I think that old St Nick carries a well used multi tool and/or a SAK, and a fixed blade Nordic/Inuit/Siberian style fixed blade. Probably a gift from the native people who raise his reindeer. Maybe a wooden sword that the elves made .

That would be a great choice if Santa wanted a flashy knife.

But think about Santa's mission: he works at night. He slips into and out of secure installations evading sophisticated security systems. He flies illegally violating the airspace of every nation in the world. It's all very covert. And in this day and age of heat-seeking anti-aircraft weapons, he needs a knife with a special coating to make it IR invisible.

The only knife for Santa is Dark Ops!

Well rounded, Santa carries a butter knife.

The only flaw in this logic is that he obviously is covered with covertly deanimated Al Qaeda body fluids - hence the rosy cheeks and the red suit (white fringe? The whole suit was once white!).

LOL that reminds me of the old MadTV claymation with Rudolph and the misfits seeking revenge on the rest of the group. IIRC, it was directed by Joe Pesci, and it parodied the The Godfather movies.
