2 - BWM
3 - Amy-0 personal note

Thats a Trifecta any day in my book. Nice one Joe!

I just ordered a tanker grey with black g-10... very excited, this will be my third busse family knife.
1) hg-55
2) SWKW hairy carry
3) BWM!!!! :)

Anyone done any major chopping with theirs yet? I've got much brush and small trees to clear out of my new yard. I brought my old cold steel kukri out for the job, and now for the life of me I can't find the damn thing, I really think one of our visitors took off with it :(...
I've had that damn thing for about 10 years
but hey! I got a BWM instead now!!! woohooo! don't miss my CS kukri at all now

@mustardman,

thank for the pics (mustard)man :)
how does it feel when you're chopping? is it solid feeling like a hatchet or kinda got the springy feel like a well made machete? I'm assuming more solid and weighty like a hatchet.

and sorry Joe, not trying to highjack your thread..... awesome knife man!

It's cool, it IS an awesome knife.

Besides, it wasn't you that hijacked it.

(Just kidding, James. ;))

I am so glad that you like it and your son is just too cute:thumbup::thumbup:

All of my best,

It doesn't have that super heavy thunk like a hatchet, but it's definitely not as springy as a machete. It's somewhere in the middle. It's very light and fast in the hand, but it strikes with authority. It was knocking out some pretty big chips when I was chopping with it. It bites pretty deep - it doesn't have a lot of weight behind the swing, but the thinness makes up for it IMHO.

It's got a typical Busse handle, in that the severe downward curve at the butt will give you Busse Pinky. But it's not nearly severe as on the Fusion handles, which I am not a fan of. I'd personally like a thicker handle, that fills my hand more, and might end up replacing mine, or at least adding liners to it, but that's a mod for someday long down the road.

+1 on thicker slabs, my hands a pretty big, definitely need thicker slabs, they are not bad, just need to be bigger. :)

You can feel it when you are chopping, vibration...

The CGFBM is a rock and the FFBM is well a FFBM.
