Santoku - Hitachi Blue 2 ~SOLD~

Greetings all. I crafted this knife from Hitachi Blue 2 steel. Differentially HT with Hamon to 63 Rockwell by Peters. Scales are stabilized and green dyed Myrtlewood Burl with stainless steel pins. The OAL is 11 3/8", the blade edge is 7", thickness is 1/8", and depth of the blade is 2 1/2" at the widest part.

SOLD....Please PM me with any questions or for additional pictures.

Due to the nature of the steel it will patina with use, but will hold an edge extremely well.
