Here is a Santoku I just completed. The fitting is nickel silver and the Damascus I made with 1084 (edge) 1090 and pure nickel. The steel took 4 days to make. As the title says this is not San Mia but I forge welded the 1084 to the bottom to become the edge. Just a different was so I did not distort this pattern. I am not sure what to call it? The handle is African Blackwood. The blade is 5 1/4" long and 10 1/4" long overall. Thickest part of the blade is where it starts after the nickel silver and has a distal taper. It was flat ground. Price is "SOLD". I only accept checks or money orders. Thanks for looking.
