This one is made of 3/32 thick AEB-L Stainless steel HT'd and Cryo'd to 60-61rc. OAL is 11 1/4" with a 6 1/2" Blade. Full convex grind with a high polished zero convex edge. Handles are olive linen micarta. Asking Sold! shipped CONUS. PP or MO

Hello Ban. I've never heard of this steel but i have heard you make a good knife and sharp too. So, i'll take it please. My shipping is USA.

Congrats Ban and to Roland. That knife is a beauty, both the steel and the handles. Looks like a hell of a chopper. :thumbup:
 
Thanks Hal. Yes it is a remarkably beautiful knife, very 'clean', uncluttered, and essential. The convex to zero blade grind requires maximum skill to pull off and this blade looks 100% perfect. Ban's fans post that his knives are scary sharp (not all makers can sharpen well) so i expect this one will also be a slicer capable of razor thin slices.
It will be a Christmas gift to one of my adult children (along with instructions on how to properly treat a fine knife). It's a lifelong kitchen user for sure.
And Thank You Ban for the skill and effort you put into this knife.
PP now paid and i'm really looking forward to receiving it. Course i will have to 'test' it myself until Christmas gift time.

Picked this knife up today. Superb ! exceeds even my high expectations.
And "sharp" is inadequate. I think "molecule splitting" is closer to accurate.
One thing i didn't realize from the pics is that the handle is slender. This is a feature i prefer and really like the surgically precise in hand feel it gives this knife.
I have other custom kitchen knives going up to $500, but this i think will prove to be the finest performer of all.
Ban you are a true Master blademaker. I have become an instant convert to your work.
My sincere thanks for creating this truly superb knife.
