I don't know the correct name for these. They are leather bags filled with lead shot. They were given out back in the 20's & 30's as a form of self protection and advertising. They are meant to be held in the hand for extra weight when you punched someone. I have two of them that were part of my collection of "stuff" in the gun cabinet. The small one is in good shape leather wise but the advertisement printing can't be read. The larger bag is in fair condition with some of the lettering being able to be read. It was from a trucking company in Des Moines, Iowa. The stitching has pulled loose on one corner for about 1/8" I think that you could easily put a dab of shoe goo in there and press it together and it would be good. $40 shipped for the small bag and $30 shipped for the large.
