SAR-3 "Satin + Black Paper"?

Yep!! Got mine an hour ago:thumbup:I originally ordered two, but my connection was lost, so I went ahead and ordered another just to be sure:DSo yeah, I got three of em. You know the saying tho.......No Regrets!!!
 
I am glad to hear that they're arriving, because mine got here an hour or so ago, too:

Yep, mine came today. Very nice, but the tops of the ridges on the scales are sharper than I might have expected. It would be easy to take it down with some fine sandpaper.

Glad you got yours. Now I don't have to post pics. :D

Had that 'problem' with SAR3 #27 LE...and no, it doesn't take long at all to dull 'em a bit, even with 1500 grit sandpaper. :thumbup: I imagine sanding BP would be even easier. :)
 
I actually like extra pointy machined scales. My snakeskin OD has particularly sharp scales and I love em. I just wish I had the strength of character to actually carry the thing!

Maybe I'm just a masochist though. Enjoy the fantastic looking black paper!
 
Just got home and mine was sittin in the mailbox:D:D, Man this is beautiful!!

I think it is down to the Black paper, and Red Black for my favorites of the 3:thumbup::thumbup:

Funny thing is, I wasn't gonna buy a Sar3 at all... I had no intention of even buying one. Yeah, I know I talked a lot a chit about it... but that was just BS, bravado, bluster and subterfuge (never let me know what yer thinkin' ;))But as I sat around with my buddy TITO, f5'n like the rest of you... They popped up, Tito thought is was a good idea to buy one, and twisted my arm a bit so pulled the trigger. I never should have doubted Tito.

Damn funny thing is, I sold all my GW's... (about the same size as the sar3) they just weren't for me. But this one... OMG! I think I love her... :o She is just beautiful! I only wish I'd bought a harem of em. ;)
