Sorry to just be posting on this. I just got back in town from a weekend of camping and trout fishing. Great trip. My SAR3 was waiting for me:D So sweet, but the ridges are much more aggressive than I would have thought. I am actually going to make this a user and not a safe queen but may want to sell or trade it later on. As long as the blade is still in great condition, will sanding down the handles a little de-value the knife at all?
 
Sigh...I have a Red and Black and a Black Paper coming but have to wait. It's gotta clear customs to get to the Great White North!
