To be fair, I think that new models should be sold and limited to ONE(1) piece per person for the maiden or first 24 hours to let everybody in on the fun ! What do you need 4 for??;):grumpy:

"I'll bottom line this for all concerned. . . It's really very simple.

Skunk has NO control over how many blades he gets. . . . He only gets what we send him. . . and it seems like it's NEVER enough! . . . Why not make more???. . Well, we're busy filling a lot of mil. orders and regular direct orders and are just too drunk to get anymore out the door.

Skunk orders 10,000 Game Wardens at a time. . . We send him a few hundred. . . He gets drunk . . . I'm already drunk. . . He puts them up on BCS on a "first come, first serve basis". . . (That's my rule, not his) . . Most everybody gets drunk while waiting. . .They sell out quickly. . . Some folks score, some don't. . . Nearly everyone is happy!. . . . . . If you're not happy, it simply means that you don't drink enough or you don't fully understand the battle cry of the INFI HOG which is, "NO REGRETS! . . . Drinking can help you to understand!. . .

The bottom line: Knife collecting and knife using and abusing is supposed to be fun! If its not fun, you need to drink more!

ANY and ALL suggestions or complaints should be directed to me. My email is jerry@bussecombat.com My phone is (419) 923-6471. . . . Call early, I'm usually hammered by noon!!!

See, it's all fairly simple!!!

Cheers!

Jerry"

you know the one about "preaching to the choir" right? :D

You sir are "caroling the grinch" good luck with your request though. ;) (analogy is not intended to label anyone, at all.)

As frustrating as it can be... the bottom line is that its business. I'm sure it makes no difference to Jerry if one guy buys 1000 blades, or if 1000 guys buy 1 each. He's not going to limit purchases and risk not selling as many.

Personally, I just look at the mad scramble as part of the fun. I know it works as a marketing strategy because I definitely will spend more on a Busse knife than any other brand.

As someone who keeps struggling to get in on the action, I must agree with the first post. The release of a limited number of blades at a time from an in demand maker is guaranteed to be a sell out no matter how many blades one person is allowed to buy. All this buying multiple blades on the first release does is make the ones who didn't have a chance in hell of geting one feel slighted. Now our only choice is to wait for the ones who did buy 3 or 4 to jack up the price and offer it to the masses...While this may be FUN and proffitable for some, I believe there are just as many if not more who are turned off to the makers product by such practices. At least the lottery systems are fair.
