only one that jerry is supposed to know about, but garth made a few extra's just in case ;)

Do you only have ONE?

No, it turns out that Skunk and Garth got together on this project when I was drunk and made up a small quantity of these!!!! :D

Garth took fully satin finished SAR 4s and then double cut them!!!! YOWZA!!!!! And I thought I was drunk!!!!

There aren't many of these and there will NEVER be another double cut SAR 4!!!!! They are awesome, but we have a ton of handwork in them since they were completely satin finished first.

The price is sick!!!!. . .

Good luck to those who go for the score, they are truly unique and extremely cool ! ! ! ! !

Let's Drink!!!

Jerry :D

I need another 4-5 inch knife like I need a hole in the head, but that double cut sure looks nice....

Completely amateur question here, but could somebody educate me as to what this double cut business is? Does it have anything to do with the convex grind? I've been looking to get a SAR-4 and would love some enlightenment. Thanks in advance!

I don't know why they call it double cut, but it's a bead blast finish on the blade. Gives it a matte or frosted look.

We produce it by cutting the surface with 2 different types of blastng media.

It gives it a killer cool, non-glare, matte finish.

DCBB = double cut bead blast.

They first grit blast the blade, then do a second blast with glass beads to smooth the rough, porous surface.
