SAR-8 Double Cut, Black Canvas Micarta, Busse Company Store Monday OCTOBER 26 9:30 Pm Eastern time. Special deal we have three of these demo's that came off the prop on a back country aircraft! great in icing conditions. might have a few left in pristine full convex condition, but are begging to become users.

stay tuned, more to follow!

I don't know how much longer I can hold off getting one of these...

They keep on coming out looking better and better!!

Thanks,

hubba hubba. Would make a good pair with a super-secret double cut knife I may or may not have gotten from a west coast knife show.

I'm not following the demo thing - if that means discounted price for a used version, sign me up :D :D :D

I'm gonna beat the crap out of it as soon as I get it anyway.

I've resisted thus far, but I'm pretty sure I'm in for one of these...
Love that color combo.

Man that DC blade looks sweet...howz about we slap some mags on her between now and tomorrow night?!?!?!?

So does that mean special pricing on just THREE???!

Wow - I'm exercising my F5 finger tonight!

I might have to pull my SAR4 double cut from the exchange so I can have a sweet match made in heaven :)

Correct. it is not coated, but blasted to a matte finish. so, it is still an un-coated steel blade, just matte. its actually become my favorite blade. generally they cost more than a coated blade but less than a satin finish (as it takes more work/time to create than a coated blade, but not as much as a satin one).

How does it wear compared to satin finish? I can imagine it is easier to manually restore satin finish than this one?

I'm curious about that one too... the only double cut blade I own is also the only blade I'm keeping but haven't decided to use yet. Since it's a super-duper secret proto, I'm keeping it pristine for now.
