It's ok progunner, the sar-8 SE's are already listed on the company store at $487. Skip the number and save some bucks

Pic's (hopefully) to the drinking!! Thanks for the welcome... #13 way too cool to trade.... Even though I know everyone want's their HOG # or matching runs, It's the kind of trade that I would kick myself for later.

Is that the only difference between LE and SE? A number, and maybe a different grip material/color? The rest would be the same? Thickness, rounded edges and shite?

You're in the right place as a Single Malt drinker.

at the busse company store "se" means special edition which is somewhere in the middle between the limited edition (le) and the combat grade (cg).

so "se" in this case is satin or double cut with special handles or a special combination thunk up when jerry is drunk, therefore making it special cause it smells like scotch and cigars.

not to be confused with a combat grade (cg) where the coating covers up all the strange smells...

I'm not sure what people mean when they write "SE". To me, it means Special Edition and the appellation has only been used for certain knives released at the Blade Show.

What about the SE versions of the Sar4 released through the company store? Some were satin, some were Double Cut, and in a variety of handle combos (I forget what all the different options were). Or were they called something other than SE? (I forget that too).

Oh for the love of God!!! Just introduce them already!!! I'm not getting any work done hitting F5 every two minutes. Oh, is the company store the place to be looking? I sware if I miss out on this one, I'm going to.... drink heavily. But damn! If I score an SE I sure am... going to.... welllll.... drink heavily!! :D

yes, the sar-8 will be at the company store. i will give you a "heads up" for the time they will be put in the inventory. at least a couple of days advance notice or when i'm sober enough to figure my shopping cart out. save your finger for the time being.

Grassy ass. Much appreciated

Hopefully SA-8 LE #94 is still enroute to me - I got an online credit card confirmation for the right amount last Thursday, but never got an online order confirmation. I know good things come to those wait, but I gettin' ('cuse the pun) EDGEY...

Anyway, congrats to all those who have ordered or received theirs, especially upsidedownviking for scoring #13!

I suppose you're right. I never bought any of the SAR4, so didn't really pay attention to the designation.
