The mod ads razor sharp hollow grind AND false edge to greatly improve cutting power and penetration! Comes with custom kydex sheath with Tek Lok $599

Description. The mod was done by a custom knife maker Chase Axinn. The mod was inspired by my love and admiration for the Fallkniven Northern Light knives and INFI. I wanted to create the perfect combination of the ultimate steel (INFI) combined with the more refined edge profile of the Scandinavian blades including the false edge to create the "perfect" Search and Rescue (SAR) knife.

The mod was done by a custom knife maker Chase Axinn (see his website for his other works http://www.chaxknives.com/) to create something unique. The mod adds hollow grind AND false edge to SAR 8 SE. The mod was inspired by my love and admiration for the Fallkniven Northern Light knives and INFI. I wanted the perfect combination of ultimate steel (INFI) combined with the more refined and acute edge profile of the Scandinavian blades including the false edge to create the "ultimate" outdoors knife. So in short I wanted to create the "bastard" child of Busse and Fallkniven that combines the best attributes of two of my favorite manufactures.
