I have a SAR Customs Hornet XL fixed blade with red/black carbon fiber handle scales, fileworked titanium liners anodized blue, and a satin finished 154CM blade for sale. SAR Customs is the work of Spencer Alan Reiter, a full-time soldier who also happens to be a great part-time knifemaker. The Hornet XL is Spencer's most popular model, and it is one tough piece that can stand up to abuse as well as any knife out there. This particular Hornet XL is made from 3/16" blade stock instead of the standard 1/4" for this model, and I find it to be more comfortable to grip as well as easier to manipulate than the standard. It also features a sharper edge due to the thinner blade stock.

Due to his busy work schedule, Spencer does not take orders, so this might be your only chance to get one of his knives, especially a satin-finished piece, for a while. I really hate to let this one go, because Spencer did go out of his way to take an order from me for it, but the wife and I are saving up to buy a house, and it looks like all of the fixed blades in my collection are going to have to go to better homes.

The Hornet XL listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Spencer is sharp. The knife includes a coyote black kydex sheath with a Tek-Lok, as well as the canvas pouch with dog tag pictured below. There are a couple of very light Kydex rub marks on the side of the blade, but there are no other flaws that I can find on the knife.
