SAR Squatch

you guys are talking about these right?

MukMuk2.jpg

I await those Muks with great anticipation as well. The big one, I pray Jerry does as a full convex number as shown, just strop it and go. I have a, forgive me Jerry, Bark River Bravo-1 that is nearly 1/4" thick and convex/saber ground and it is easily the sharpest knife I own. I know Jerry can do these and make them just as scary sharp as the Barkie and go thick if he wants to one the bigger one. Do it Jerry, convex grind all the way, we don't need no stinking secondary bevels!

+1 full convex for the win!

The Original ADs, the Zero Tolerances sets and the satin finished Aftershock bolos all had at least a convex edge the went seemlessly into the main grind and they are all the sharpest Busse knives I have ever owned. Dang it now you have me missing my ZTNO. Crap!

I'm thinking could CBT not be put on the SAR knife to beef up it's rigidity but keep it as slim as possible for cutting? Works well on the HR and BM so why not?

Only thing is you could end up with any knife from medium size up having CBT and would start to make them all look a bit similar.
