Must have been wishful thinking (or maybe a suggestion for Skunk's next offering) that made me type DCBB instead of satin. I need more scotch. That always helps, right? :D

Grab a Red Stripe, take a deep breath, go find a comfy chair and relax Jaxx. :)

Didn't mean to get your heart racing. Next time I'll check the safe before I post that particular combo.

Just got mine from my post Man about 20 min ago,and I must say that
I really like the Red! I didn't think I would like it that much but it's darker (slightly burgundy) than any of Skunks pics.... There is nothing Orange about it..
I for one am very pleased!:thumbup:

I really wish I had gotten a couple more...:(
 
Does anyone have a pic of this one (or something with the same red handle) in various color kydex and leather sheaths? Just curious if black, brown or some other color would look best. I haven't decided on kydex or leather yet, but leaning toward leather.

Agreed it sure is much prettier then I expected, Big Thanks Skunk & Bossman...Always Bringin' it!!!
 
The handle color should be close to those on the original SOW:

Same here. It looks much nicer.
 
Mine arrived today as well. The red is not a bright as the SOW handles are. The red G-10 and DC finish look remarkably good. Pics to come.
 
Agreed. Mine arrived today, too, and the Red Micarta is slightly darker than on previous Busse specimens with the same handle material.
 
Same here. Not as bright red as I expected from the pictures. Still a very nice combination with the DC blade. Now where is that OJ SAR3 ???
