All prices include shipping to any CONUS address, insurance, and delivery confirmation number. Paypal or USPS MO for payment; if using paypal please use the "personal gift" option or add 3.5%. Questions and/or trade offers for other Busse blades or a Krein Bushcrafter are welcome through PM or email. Thanks.

HOGFSH's: both have a factory double-cut (bead-blasted) blade finish with snakeskin micarta handle scales; one has a darker Busse logo than the other; both have seen light use but have never been sharpened; the one with the lighter logo has a tiny nick toward the tip (see close-up photo); $$$$ for the one with the darker logo; $$$$ for the one with the lighter logo

Resinguy: I appreciate your question but no, they are not tiger micarta. They are definitely 100% snakeskin, just an older version. I've seen some like these on a few other somewhat older Busses and I think the reason the pattern may look a bit different than some of the later knives that came out with snakeskin is because they appear to be cut perpendicular to the direction of the grain. Most of the snakeskin handles scales, like on the Game Warden LE for example, have the majority of the lines of color oriented along the longitudinal axis of the blade/handle whereas the style on this one reflects the lines going perpendicular to the long axis of the blade/handle which creates the blocky look. Just my observations and opinion. Thanks again for the question and you're more than welcome to PM me if I didn't answer your question completely.

I hope I'm not intruding on the thread but just wanted to back up what Swoopmaster is saying about the slabs. They are indeed snakeskin like this pic of my original satin/snake HOFSH

All of the originals I have seen have this style of handle with the red being the predominant color. And no, mine is not for sale . . . SO YOU BETTER BUY ONE OF THESE BEAUTIES!!

Hope that helps.

Pittsteele: I'm not sure, it was like that when I got it. It's not as bad as it looks in the close-up picture, you really have to look for it to even notice it and it will easily sharpen out the first time someone sharpens it. It still has the original factory edge.
