Lycosa, in his infinite wisdom, has the right idea. Spray some oil in the opening and let it penetrate. Might work. Coupled with the paracord idea sounds good. Be careful brother. Don't want it flying out and stabbing you in the eye. :eek:
 
Adroc, loosen the screws that hold your Teklock on. That should loosen things up enough for you to get the SAR8 out of the sheath.
 
Stuck knife, unstuck. I put the very last eyelet in a vice and then yanked. It wasnt THAT hard to get out, but by gripping with my hand alone it was impossible. I'm going to try the hair dryer trick now. That should do it. Thanks for all the quick responses and phone calls!! I feel special.

If you do heat it to loosen it, don't heat the last inch or so unless you have a press to put it in. You may make it rattle.
 
Thanks. I'll go at it slow. I do have a press I made that may comein handy. I'm only going to tweek it slightly.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. I love how secure mashed cat sheaths are. I can confidently carry mine upside down.:thumbup:
