Sarching problems

Having a problem with searches, won't work. I can't search to see if searching is a known problem or not. I get an error page when I input the terms and tell it to search.

Try the "advanced search." Seems like that always works.

Thanks for the help. But that didn't work either. I was searching the HI forum for "sarge knife" if it makes a difference.

Take the word knife out and try it,,think that might be your problem.

Yup, that's the problem -- if you search Bladeforums for the word "knife" the poor search function gets so many hits its widdle silicon bwain gets overloaded!

The search function also seems unhappy with multiple word searches on occasions too. I try, where possible, to restrict my searches to single words.

I get a lot of errors with multiple word searches too. Sometimes if the single word search is too broad, I'll use advanced search and just search titles.
