Yvsa, I didn't forget about you. By the way, I took second place in the archery tournament, got bested by a friend who's a right fair shot with his crossbow (I always tease him that a longbow is a man's weapon, and a crossbow is nothing more than an infernal contraption).
Anyhow, on to the baldric;
- Measure from the belt loop on your left hip to the center of your chest (assuming you're right handed and wearing pants

), that's measurement "A"
- Measure from the same belt loop, around your back, over your right shoulder, to the center of your chest (try for exact same spot as center that you used in measuring "A"), that's measurement "B"
- When you measure out the stap parts for your baldric, make sure and leave extra material for the attachments at the buckle/ring, and to have some extra for adjusting fit, as hinted at in the illustration
- Ring/buckle attachments can be done with rivets, but I prefer to glue & sew with strong nylon thread
Coming next, some variations on a "Frog"
