Looking good from this vantage point. I am thinking about adding a wide swedge on my .22 pumpkin GW to make it racier. (OH, I don't know what would have given me that idea, how about those really fat GW's some one snagged out of the company store with the sweet swedge grinds they posted pics of a few days ago).

wow if you call that messing up you should see how my stuff turns out.

It was like making sausage. The process was not pretty. There was one point where everything was uneven and crooked. I knew I would have to get radical with it or just have a messed up Busse. Things started to come together when I attached the platen and ground a straight line from the rear of the swedge to the point. Then I just free handed the convex swedge to that line and tried to keep things even and at a close angle. It is far from perfect, but so are many commercial grinds if you look closely. I am happy with how it finally came out. Whew!
