SARSquatch Comparison Pic.....

+1

The Sarsquatch is definately more blade heavy than a SFNO. The OAL is roughly the same but the blade is longer and the handle a tad bit shorter. Blade is also wider making it quite a more blade heavy than a SFNO. I have no doubt that it will outchop a SFNO and will probably even be neck to neck with a FSH. I can't wait to satin mine and put a stupid sharp edge on it.

You'll need to do a "chop-off" when the passaround gets to you guys next. :D

But quite a bit 'choppier,' if that odd piece of jargon makes sense.

I'm already starting to 'love' it ... the Competition Grade version is a wild beast with no self respect.

WOOT! Glad my proxy was able to come through for me on this one.

If you guys want one just wait...
There will be many on the Ganza, there were piles of them left over, at one time I had 10 or 12 cards for them and more were avaliable.
I gave them all away and got SFNO's, I already have the best chopper Busse has ever made :)

I was hoping for a SE Squatch but I may just strip mine and satin the beast with a zero edge.

Stacy,

I have been waiting patiently for a looooong time already ;) To make it fair.... I'll put a nice polished convex edge on that SFNO and then do a chop off against my satin convexed Sarsquatch. It will be interesting.

Ban, don't say that, he'll move you to the back of the line...

Umm.... I have a feeling that I am already in the back of the line. I think Stacy somehow planned it that way ;)

MORE.......?

This looks to be a real chopper and like already mentioned by Gundy...a true camp knife. Weight and feel are just that. Can't say I care much for the swedge but the over all feel and look of this blade is very nice. I was suprise to see that true enough it is wider than the SFNO. Not always easy to see in the pictures but the belly of this knife is very fat (wide) which will make it a good cutter and the convex/saber grind will allow this sucker to baton the hell out of wood. Jerry really came through on this one. I'm hoping a satin version is going to happen!

Dang Bro! Your carpet is hella dirty :p

LOL...Ban.

That cracked me up.... my wife was at her desk looking at me funny wandering why I was laughing.

I had to explain the carpet and comment. :D

I was honestly drooling over the knife pics, I didn't notice.

.... But, then Ban mentioned and whoa....

Did you dissassemble a car or motorcycle in there?

You need to put down some plastic or something next time. ;)

.

Wow! That thing is a beast. I guess I am going to have to try one of those bad boys out. Great comparison pics guys. Thanks.

hahaha....That carpet was from my shop. :D It is just some old carpet that I slapped onto a large bench that I use for cabinet assembly.

I can't wait!

(Actually, I think AZShaman has them currently. Off to Tykon next. Yourself and Solstice are up after Tyrkon. Then it is over to TonyG. Finally, it will return to me! Close to last but no quite! :p)

Thanks for the comparison pics:thumbup:

I sent mine back with Dwayne(Leatherman), so if anyone needs a leather sheath he can fix you up.

Dang after seeing the pics....I WANT MANY! I love how its slightly thinner than the SFNO and with a deeper belly. The swedge looks better to me know having seeing it stripper. I dont have a FSH but this might fill that void;)

this was one of the biggest surprises at the show I think.

THe Squatch is killer!

THe black is is Black linen:eek::thumbup:

THe tan seemed to be much more limited in #'s

and the CF will fillet post-it notes:eek::D:thumbup:
