Both knives have very good ergonomic, though NMSFNO have a bit more stamina over the SARsquatch.

I love how Tall/wide the blade is and with that zero convex grind, frigging perfection My favorite Busse blade shape by far. Could do without the swedge though IMO.

Was thinking about this one the other day. Had the competetion finish and man, that thing loved the strop. I was lookign at my Camp Tramp the other day thinking "Well, you don't get out much anymore...hows about a SQ again?"

Very cool design, nice to have a 3/16" in this size. It chopped like hell.

I rank it even with a SAR 5 and a Glock.
Much like a Glock always goes "Bang" a Squach will alway cut.

Just got a comp finish onein mail today. Very cool for sure !!!! I love my skinny ash but hate the pinky bite the handle gives so bought this and dont regret it At all!

It would give it a more blade-heavy feeling, which isnt necessarily a bad thing...

If you ever plan on hammering on the butt I'd leave it as is - I wouldn't want to hammer right up against the micarta. If not, GO FOR IT!

I've toyed with the idea of sharpening the first 3/4 inch of the faux clip - I know Jaxx has a sweet satin SARQ with the entire clip done (stag or buffalo handle I think?), but I'm sure it would eat up batons. Sure is purdy though.

It's actually still a false edge and flat along the clip. Although it's a little narrower than a regular one there and narrows a bit more right before the tip, it won't eat a batonning stick that much quicker.

JAXX has the best looking SARSquatch i ever seen. It's a bowie version with custom handles. It's sick.

The SQ is one of those underappreciated Busse knives, a sleeper. My fave is the one that Horn Dog modded to a clip point.

That custom sure is pretty. Mine is a competition grade and one of my favorite camp knives.
