Sarsquatch vs Chopweiler

Just got my Comp. Sarsquatch this morning and excercised it :D it's a little beast!!! Beats the S#$% outta the SFNO for one thing (though the SFNO DOES LOOK more appealing) never had a chopweiler, but using it side by side with a SHSH and a SH-e...it was keeping pace with the SHSH pretty well, and beating the crap outta the SH-e (mainly edge geometry). It's light, fast, love the huge choil as you can fit a gloved finger in there nicely, and while both my SHSH and SH-e are MUCH more comfortable to use, the Sarsquatch is VERY secure in hand. I like how thin and light it is....it may just replace my SH-e LE. Only thing is that the raptor scales and the ergo handle are both SOO much better than the Sarsquatch ones......

It's a hell of a chopper, hell of a slicer and would make a great all around camp knife!!

You could get away with one of these, a Cultellus and an axe for the heavier stuff/splitting for sure!

BUT!!!! That would mean you wouldn't have some sort of BM which is a crime :D

I look forward to using this one some more!

BTW: It does work on coconuts! :p

Pictures or not, I'm just glad to hear it works so well. All I had to go on was the picture. It looked like a great camp knife. Now the waiting for Sarsquatch to arrive.

and the comp SQ takes a nice patina. I was experimenting with some vinegar...it adds to the rough look of it.
...yes, pics tomorro' (waiting for natural light)
