Many more to come

I know some of you can't view photobucket, so give the word and I'll shoot you an email.

Thanks again Tony. My friend has a few friends that live in the area of the fire and she went to help them out. She didnt take the pics just some that other people posted in the area.

 Is Ruben bringin out the blue dagger? :D

Nah, seriously, that is really sad. Really makes me feel for the guys fightin that beast, and for all the animals that are now homeless or orphaned from it. I hope it gets under control soon. :(

Reminds me, and looks like, the fires we have here in southern California - only worse!

You folks down under have my thoughts and prayers!

Wow - that's wild. My hat goes off to the men and women that put their life on the line to put those fires out.

To be perfectly honest I couldn't imagine what that must be like for them there. My thoughts are with them, though.

The pictures really are excellent, if one briefly steps back from the reality of the situation.

The picts are scary and awesome.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those in the fire area.

Sorry I don't mean to hijack but this has reminded me of the Okanagan Mountain Park fire here in 2003. Wow, 6 years ago, seems like it was yesterday. I remember the entire city being filled with smoke for weeks, and having friends stay over because they were evacuated from their houses. It's a very odd feeling not being able to find fresh air even if you go outside, claustrophobic in the outdoors.

For some perspective on this picture, that's not a river, it's a lake and the section near the fire is 2-3 miles wide.
