Sashimi knife how to

Very nice ,Sam.
One offer of advice:
When fitting that type of bolster (or a guard) don't make the fit until after HT. Once the blade is finally sanded and polished the tang is often a little smaller. This creates a loose fitting and gaps. Doing the handle block in advance is no problem, since it doesn't have an exposed hole once the bolster/guard is in place.

I like that knife.

Thanks Stacy. I have to remake the corian bolster anyway, so I will save final fitting until after HT like you said.

The corian is cool stuff, but I sure wish I had some horn.

I would have added the "batting eyelashes" or "sad puppy eyes" emoticon but I could not find it :D .
