This one started life as a doublecut blade with black Micarta scales. The previous owner sent it back to the shop, unused, to have it turned into the satin/black paper beauty you see before you. I'm not sure if it's because it was once doublecut, or just the luck of the draw, but this is one of the nicer factory satin finishes I've seen - very smooth and polished looking.
