Up for sale is a not quite new alias 1. Asking $165 SOLD! USPS, PayPal and US buyers preferred.
Here's the story with this one:
I sent it back to benchmade for a reblade and there was a slight delay. To make up for it they replaced the titanium scale along with the blade. It's not technically a new knife, but it has a new handle, a new blade, and new hardware... (The g10 scale isn't new but it looks perfect.) They went a bit overboard on the lube which caused a sticky lock. I disassembled the knife, cleaned off the lube and added nano oil, and colored graphite on the lockbar and tang. Worked like a charm.
The knife opens smooth and fast with a solid lockup and no sticking. Blade is centered.
Keep in mind the only way to get a g10 alias with a satin blade is to send a black one in for a reblade at $25 plus shipping. I think it looks great but it can't compete with my new insingo. I will consider trade for folders of comparably value but would prefer to sell.
