Satin Finish

I have a ZT0560CBCF (with an s110v blade) that I have really enjoyed a lot for the past few years, but the one thing that has always struck me as "off" about it is the blade finish. It has a bead blasted finish which has then been stonewashed very lightly...to me it looks mediocre. I prefer for mirror polished or hand rubbed satin finish. About 10 years ago when I was a teenager I was lucky enough to make my own super sweet custom utility fixed blade from a drawing I made with amazing custom knife maker Dave Larson, who is a long time family friend. I have since moved far away and was wondering, how should I go about this? If I remember correctly all I need to do is affix the blade and then move up the grits only once all of the previous scratches are removed, being careful to mind the crispness of the plunge. How could I achieve a mirror polish, simply by moving up to an extremely high grit? The thumbstuds appear to be press fitted, will they be easy enough to remove and replace using a mallet or something? The s110v blade is only 59 rockwell, so it should be as easy as any high alloyed steel blade right?

110V is very difficult to finish. You probably need some diamond paper and lots of time. Vanadium carbides like the ones in 110V are as hard as SC abrasive.
