satin finish?

how is the best way to get a satin finish on your blade,,, royboy

I like the finish a scotchbrite belt gives you but they're $15 a pop. I think most folks take their blades thru 600 grit and then hand sand with 320 or400 grit for the final finish.

roy, i go to a 400grit finish and the use the medium or blue 2x72" scotchbrite belt.
