I make grinding wheels from sheets of Scotchbrite. Cut pieces fairly round then stack four on a 6 in. grinder. An old CD makes a pretty good pattern. Use whatever coarseness you need to get the desired effect. This also will take out scratches and give an old blade a "new" look. Watch your fingers and be careful. If the blade snaps shut, you don't want to lose any fingers.
